Description

ROOK is the fifth crew member. It takes the retro-terminal design language from MOTHER, FATHER, BISHOP, and ASH and puts it where you'll see it most: your desktop.

All 53 widgets render like instruments on one console — mono type, hairline panels, scanlines, and phosphor glow that's really there, not a screenshot trick. Pick from the same 11 themes the rest of the suite ships: green phosphor, amber monochrome, cryo-bay teal, ice blue, three classic Mac looks, native macOS light and dark, and more. Change the theme once and every widget already on your desktop re-tunes itself.

They're working instruments, too. Tap a reminder to check it off. Start a focus session and watch the countdown burn on your wallpaper. Skip tracks, log a glass of water, follow three stocks, watch CPU load, check sunrise or the moon phase — 12 categories of live data.

If you run MOTHER or FATHER, ROOK completes the picture: match the theme and your dashboard, terminal, and desktop read as one machine. Everything runs locally — no account, no subscription, nothing leaves your Mac.
